The Financial District covers the oldest part of Manhattan, below Chambers Street. Many of its early-20th-century office towers have been converted to condominiums, joined by new residential towers with full amenities.
Stone Street and the South Street Seaport bring restaurants, the 9/11 Memorial and the Oculus anchor the west side, and Battery Park and the harbor are at the southern tip.
